More From Diesel Club

So saturday was the actual One Year Anniversary of Diesel, and they brought back a Cirque Du Soleil ariel artist. Saturdays show was even more ammazing than the show on Friday. Last night she actually started up on the balcony of V.I.P. and swung down into the center of the dance floor with everyone standing around. While the lighting wasnt ideal, her body language and the lighting creat a mood that is as hard to compete with as it is to shoot.

She wil be heading to Jordan with the circus at the end of the month, but I hope to shoot some more creative controlled photos when she gets back into Pittsburgh.

Cirque Du Soleil

Cirque Du Soleil is famous for their ariel acrobatics, men and women performing amazing stunts high above the ground with two peices of cloth to hold on to. Their performances are amazing and create and atmosphere of awe. For Diesel Club in the South Side, that is exactly the atmosphere they wanted to have for their One Year anniversary party, so they brought in the Pro. She moved like an angel over the heads of the crowd. she will be back tonight, and I will post more photos as i have time.

Digital Underground

One of my projects for this week has been shooting the one year anniersary party for Diesel Club in Pittsburgh's South Side. They have a week full of events. Thursday night was an event they call Generations, and it is alot of old school hip-hop and party mixes from the 70's to today. To start their celebration off right, D.C. brought in Digital Underground. If you dont know who they are, I bet you would recognize the song "The Humpty Dance". Yep thats them.

I also just picked up a Nikon D200. As much as I want the D2x, I have to go with what is truly possible at the moment. But it makes a great partner to my D2h, which is a serious workhorse, and has awesome low light focusing. Some samples from that will come soon.
