Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. I am just back from an impromptu trip to Kenya and Uganda that lasted from December 26 through January 12. I say impromptu because I literally heard about the trip on Christmas Night and left the next afternoon.

I was given an amazing opportunity by a group of young adults that created a group called "Be the Change". I have known a few of the members for years, and when a team member dropped out, they asked me if I would be interested in going along to create a documentary for them.

There were 12 poeple in the group, plus myslef. Nine of the members were experienceing Uganda for the first time and meeting a group of middle school, high school, and university students that they are sponsoring.

It was such a beautiful exerience and I am blessed to have had a chance to go on this experience with this group.
